I've been playing video games since the 1970s. I started out with Pong, then graduated up to an Atari 2600 and an Intellivision.

Other than a brief stint in the early 1990s with a Sega Game Gear, I stopped playing video games from the mid 1980s until around 2001 - 02.

Around that time, my ex-fiancé purchased a Playstation 1. Once I saw the games he played on the PS1, I couldn't believe it; the graphics and gameplay had progressed quite a bit, and so I was drawn back in.

After that, I bought a Playstation 2, X-box, and Game Cube.

These days, I also own an Xbox 360, a Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and a PSP (Playstation Portable). (I still have my Sega Game Gear but rarely use it.)

My favorite genre of games are the scary ones, obviously. Among those, my favorites are Fatal Frame 1, Blood Rayne 1, Manhunt 1, and Resident Evil 4.

The earliest scary game I played was Haunted House for the Atari 2600, back in the 1980s.

However, I do enjoy other genres as well. One of my favorite games is the science fantasy shooter Star Wars Battlefront 1 which I play a lot.
